Triangle Rubber
started in the thermoplastic elastomer business in the mid 1980's.
Since then the business has grown considerably. TPD (ThermoPlastic Division)
is now housed in a 24,000 square foot facility that was constructed in
1997 and contains state of the art equipment.

Currently we have 15 injection presses ranging from
35 - 300 tons. Our
process is automated from material feeding to demolding finished
parts.
We process a wide range of TPE's for many markets:
automotive, appliance, electronics, and plumbing.

Thermoplastic Elastomers have many advantages. One reason you may choose
a thermoplastic part is because of the short molding cycles. This allows
for lower cavitation tools and high volume business. TPE's do not require
any secondary operations due to the efficiency of the molding process,
so the parts are clean and precise. Triangle's ThermoPlastic Division
is experienced in running many different colors. TPE's are easily colorable,
and the color remains unchanged for the life of the part.

TPE's can replace
traditional thermoset rubber in many applications, and many times can
be at a lower cost. Runners and rejected parts can be fully recycled
by regrinding the material. The reground material is then mixed with
new material and remolded into new parts. At Triangle's TPE division
we are experienced in multi color and multi material molding,
as well as overmolding.

At Triangle Rubber's
Thermoplastic Division we are experienced in running many different
types of materials, including: TPU, TPV, TPO, PVC, SEBS, ABS and
PP. We maintain close relationships with many of the major raw material
suppliers to the thermoplastic industry.

a wealth of technical expertise and resources that can be drawn upon
to enhance the efficiency and quality of development work.
