Transforming Our Original Manufacturing Facility into Our New Sales Office: Triangle Rubber & Plastics Expands

Keeping 75+ years of manufacturing history here in Goshen, Indiana going strong.

There’s just something cool about working in a building that has seen decades of quality manufacturing unfold within its walls.

Multiple generations of hardworking American employees, multiple generations of machinery put through its paces… Sometimes you find yourself stopping to think about the millions of products that have shipped out the door, which is a proud feeling for any U.S. manufacturer who has stuck around since the 1950s…

With that sentiment in mind, our team has completed a major facility expansion project, one that meant  a lot more than a simple renovation. We transformed our original manufacturing building, the same space where our company’s rubber molding story began 75+ years ago, into our brand new sales office.

Founded in 1950, Triangle Rubber & Plastics has always called Goshen, Indiana home. This building was where it all started, and we’re keeping that tradition alive.

A Lot of History Between These Walls

CLong before robotics or even IATF 16949 registration became part of our everyday vocabulary, Triangle Rubber employees were here and working hard. This is the floor where our founders pressed the first molds, and built a reputation for quality and service that we carry on today.

Obviously we didn’t want to tear that history down, or let it sit unused. So our internal team rolled up their sleeves and took on the project themselves. It took seemingly countless hours to clear everything out and clean up: old equipment, decades of dust in previously hidden places, all the layered remnants of production lines that once ran around the clock…

It was a huge undertaking, but our people wanted to be the ones to carry this building into its next chapter, not an outside contractor with no connection to what this place represents.

So now, we have a space that truly respects where we came from while positioning us for where we’re headed. Our new sales office gives our growing sales and customer service teams room to operate efficiently, closer to the production floor and closer to the people who make our products possible.

We see it as a new life that’s fitting for a building that has always been about serving customers well: it’s just from a different vantage point now, wearing a different color collar.

A Place in Which We’re Proud to Form New Partnerships with Our Customers

RuWhen you walk into our new sales office, you’re stepping into a modern workspace that has seen a long history of quality manufacturing. We’re excited to form new partnerships in the same building where Triangle Rubber & Plastics took its first steps more than three-quarters of a century ago.

It’s more than pride in the quality work that we do. It’s pride in American manufacturing, in our hometown of Goshen, Indiana, and it’s a commitment to the community we’re a part of: we plan to stay right here for another 75+ years, making quality rubber and plastic products like we have since 1950.
