Rubber
When it comes to rubber, we develop unique formulations according to the specifications that our customers bring us. Our Rubber molding facility houses an advanced laboratory that can produce a wide range of rubber compounds; each formulated to achieve your project’s specific properties and performance requirements. We’ll work through various iterations of formulas, validating each one through testing until we’re sure it meets customer specs. For example, if you have requirements for the material’s compression set, we’ll formulate the compound to meet that specification.
Once we have a formula that meets your project’s requirements, we’ll send it off to a qualified subcontractor. The subcontractor will then mass-produce the rubber for our use in your project and perform secondary testing to ensure each lot maintains specification.

Triangle maintains hundreds of unique rubber formulations developed and refined across decades of production experience. When you bring us a new application, we draw on that library first, matching proven formulations to your performance requirements before a single test is run.
When a standard formulation isn’t the right fit, our engineers develop and refine new compounds in close collaboration with your team:
- We can test multiple formulations against your specific quality parameters such as whether hardness, compression set, chemical resistance, operating temperature range, or other functional performance properties.
- We then iterate until the compound performs exactly as required. This compounding expertise is especially valuable for demanding or unconventional applications where off-the-shelf materials fall short.
