Triangle Rubber & Plastics is proud to announce that, thanks to the support of our customers and partners, we have implemented and finished the construction of a new expansion to our third production plant, increasing our manufacturing capacity and making room for future business.
Upgrading Our Facility for Larger Projects
Recently, we set out to add additional square footage to our third manufacturing plant, with the goal of expanding our capacity for large-tonnage molding projects. This facility houses our 500 to 1500 ton single-shot molding machines and our 800 to 1200 ton two-shot machines. In order to make room for more equipment, we added 9000 square feet to the facility. The expansion has allowed us to convert the existing warehouse area into a new bay for our new 1000 ton machines, while moving the warehouse itself into the expansion. This also has made room for a 20 ton overhead crane that travels the full length of the building, helping our team with handling and loading molds into the machines. With the additional manufacturing capacity, our hope is that we’ll be able to pursue further expansions in the future.
